In the fall of 2006 Triple S Records will release a CD with two new pieces by Klaas ten Holt. Bovary Chante, concerto for soprano, cimbalom and string quartet, performed by the Mondriaan String Quartet, , Claron McFadden and Michiel Weidner. Libretto: Carel Alphenaar. Sonate, for solo violin, performed by Joan Berkhemer.



Pikkuhenki (2005)

Book with CD and illustrations by Marit Tornqvist. Pikkuhenki is a very small witch, invisible to the human eye. She turns out to be very powerfull... The author, Toon Tellegen, reads the story himself (in Dutch). Klaas ten Holt composed enchanting, contemporary music. As a modern classic Pikkuhenki compares with Peter and the Wolf and The Soldiers Tale. For children between 6 and 100 years. Duration ca. 50 min. Book published by Querido. Available in bookstores. The Seven Slowhands (1996)

The Seven Slowhands are: Klaas ten Holt, Vincent van Warmerdam, Michiel Jansen, Edwin Ligteringen, Frank Douglas, Corrie van Binsbergen and John van der Veer.
Klaas ten Holt composed and recorded music for seven guitarists, each with his or her own specific musical background, style and technique. The Slowhands toured extensively in Holland, the former Soviet Union, Mongolia, China and Indonesia in may and june 1989.
At the moment only available as cd-r (order with Triple S Records), but a re-release on Triple S Records is planned.
